He proposed to Me But I refused: Lady Seeks Opinion

4rinzo, 20 Feb , 2020 Hello everyone, I'm a trained teacher and I have this male friend whom we have been friends for 10 good years. We've been just friends and not in a relationship. He knows me well and I know him well. Because we are always together, some people even thought we were going out but it was never true. He is an engineer now whiles I'm a teacher by profession. Recently he showed interest in me but I told him I don't love him and that is the truth. He is very good and everything a woman will want in a man. I have tried hard to love him but still the love is not coming so I told him the truth. Please note that I am not in any relationship and he is also not dating anyone. He is hurt but I also don't want to accept him and later tell him I can't be with him. Even though he has accepted my answer and we are still like how we used to be, I want to know if I did the right thing or I have disappointed him? www.mextonmedia.blogspot.com

IMO state Protesters Demands The Sack Of Justice Tanko

Thousands have protesters have taken to the street in Imo state demanding a reversal of the Supreme Court decision which sacked the governor of the state Hon. Emeka Ihedioha of the people democratic party and installed the Senator Hope Uzodinma of the APC. The protesters are also demanding the sack of the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Tanko. As we can recall, last week the Supreme court gave a unanimous decision, reversing the judgement of the lower courts, but many people including renowned lawyers have questioned the judgement and anxiously wait the explanation of the decision of the Supreme court. One of such question is that the total number of votes are now far over the total number of accredited voters, another is, in an election of over 20 parties, how come only 2 parties were allotted scores in the results accepted by the Supreme court, we are left with many questions, the Supreme court they say is final, but my question remains can their decisions be reviewed? That we don't know. The disqualification of emeka ihedioha by the supreme court has raised tension not only in IMO state but the Nigerian polity at large. Some political analyst see this as a giant stride but some see this as an unhealthy oppression from the ruling party. How ever the Democratic state of the country has never been compromised and this marks the birth of a revolution that will state clearly the need for all who are in power to understand that no matter how highly placed the court still remains supreme and its decisions are channeled towards national growth.  www.mextonmedia.blogspot.com

BENUE GOVT STILL IN TALKS WITH LABOUR OVER NEW WAGE PROF. ANTHONY IJOHOR

4rinzo, 19 Jan 2020 www.mextonmedia.blogspot.com It is necessary to state that negotiations between Benue State Government and labour unions on implementation of the N30,000 minimum wage have not yet been concluded. The member of the State Government Committee on the New Minimum Wage who posted on social media that the negotiations were concluded and approval given did so in haste and error, and has since been told to retract the report. We wonder why the committee member rushed to the media with the report when we and labour leaders were still meeting to agree on the new minimum wage for workers of the state. Our administration has presented its proposal and labour leaders have given assurance that they would study the proposal and get back to government. We call for patience as negotiations on the new minimum wage will soon be concluded in the best interest of all Benue people. Professor Anthony Ijohor, SAN, Secretary to the State Government. 17th January, 2020.
